The B-1 was originally planned to replace the aging fleet of B-52s.   Although there have been setbacks in it's development, the B-1 is a very impressive aircraft.
The 2001 Cape Cod Air Show featured some great B-1 vapor shots.

B-1 taxiing to it's parking space. I love this picture. They rolled this beast to within 50 feet of where I was taking pictures.		B-1 coming out from behind some trees on it's way to do it's demonstration. This is another of my favorites.
